How much does a mobile notary cost in Atlanta?
B. Noted mobile notary services start at $50, including travel and up to two notary stamps. The final total depends on the appointment details; tell us the document type and address when booking so we can confirm the fee.
What ID do I need for a Georgia notary appointment?
Bring current government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. Georgia notary guidance allows identity to be based on personal knowledge or satisfactory evidence; a current government-issued photo ID is the clearest option to bring. Document-specific instructions may also apply. If you’re unsure whether your ID will work, call us before booking so we can discuss it. See Georgia notary guidance ↗
How quickly can a mobile notary arrive?
Arrival time depends on your location, traffic, and the day’s schedule. Same-day, evening, and weekend appointments may be available, but they aren’t guaranteed. Call 770.666.2553 or book online and share your deadline and address; we’ll confirm the earliest available time.
Do you come to homes, offices, and hospitals?
Yes. B. Noted is mobile and can meet at homes, offices, hospitals, and care facilities across Metro Atlanta. We also serve Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Roswell, Decatur, and surrounding communities. Share the exact location and any facility access requirements when booking.
Can you do a group at our office or event?
Yes — we offer on-site group fingerprinting blocks for hiring cohorts and teams at offices or events, at flat group rates. Share your location, group size, and preferred timing when booking so we can coordinate the visit.
What is an FD-258 fingerprint card?
An FD-258 is a standard physical fingerprint card used by agencies and organizations to collect ink fingerprints. B. Noted rolls fingerprints in ink onto the card and returns the completed card to you for submission. We provide physical ink cards, not electronic Georgia GAPS or live-scan fingerprinting.
What is the difference between ink cards and electronic fingerprinting?
Ink fingerprinting records rolled impressions on a physical card such as the FD-258. Electronic fingerprinting captures prints digitally through a live-scan system and sends them electronically through an authorized provider. These methods are not interchangeable: follow the instructions from the agency requesting your prints. B. Noted provides physical FD-258 ink cards, not Georgia GAPS/live scan. See Georgia GBI information about GAPS ↗
What should I know about notarizing a power of attorney (POA)?
A POA authorizes an agent to act for someone in specified matters. Georgia’s execution requirements generally call for the principal’s signature, two qualified witnesses, and notarization. B. Noted can provide witnesses as part of our mobile notary-with-witness service, which starts at $125. Requirements and exceptions can depend on the document and circumstances, so follow your attorney’s or document provider’s instructions and bring the completed document. Our notary can verify identity and perform the notarial act, but can’t draft a POA or provide legal advice. Read Georgia’s POA execution statute ↗
